Will County Energy Efficiency Fall Event Series

Increasing energy efficiency—using less electricity, natural gas, and water to complete the same everyday functions—can lead to monetary savings, greater comfort, and a healthier environment. Join representatives of Will County’s Resource Recovery & Energy Division, the Citizens Utility Board, and local higher education in this series of interactive events to learn more about what you can do to improve efficiency, how you can do it, and who can help you do it.

  • Want an energy policy primer and some ideas for efficiency strategies you can apply today? Take a look at the “Energy Efficiency 101: Policy, Resources, and Home Energy Savings” webinars and complete an energy efficiency pledge.
  • Want to find out for yourself how much energy your appliances use each year? Sign up for the in-person Do-It-Yourself Energy Audit and learn how to estimate your own energy consumption in this hands-on workshop.
  • Want to know how your household is being charged for energy? Register for the Citizens Utility Board’s Utility Bill Clinics and get a deeper dive into your ComEd and Nicor bills in a virtual one-on-one session.
