Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant invites families to attend a Kids’ Fair on Monday, Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Troy Middle School, 5800 W. Theodore St., Plainfield, IL. This free event will feature interactive and educational activities by local organizations, businesses, and government agencies.

Yesterday, Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant joined regional leaders to announce the formation of the Greater Chicagoland Economic Partnership. This first-of-its-kind collaboration among the seven counties of northeastern Illinois (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Will) and the City of Chicago aims to drive economic growth and advance equity across the region and its diverse communities.

Will County to Host Workshops for ARPA Economic Development Funding

Applications to support a post-COVID economic recovery are open until December 30, 2022

Will County will be hosting technical assistance workshops for potential applicants to learn more about the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to support economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. The workshops will allow for potential applicants to receive more information about eligibility, ask questions about the application process, and troubleshoot issues.
